Believe it or not everything gets used on a fairly regular basis except for the last three on the right. They haven't been fished for one reason or another. (ARMS Paraizo, Jota SB and the White Python)
Pretty OCD about keeping the rods clean. Corks sealed right after the the wrappers come off, full wipe down after every trip. They stay looking new with a little bit of work.

Thanks RET, this is what a few years of TT does to you. We're all hooked!USA-RET wrote:As impressive a collection of rods I've ever seen. Thankfully the dollar has been rather weak these past couple of years, so the urge to buy has been at a minimum.

Re: Front deck pics?
My Lund doesn't have a front deck big enough to display my rods....so I took a picture on the front deck of the house.
I don't have room enough for too many rods in the boat so everything has to do double duty

Re: Front deck pics?
Yeah, I had to look for awhile before I found this deal. There is alot of junk on craigslist, or like you said overpriced.october wrote:im trying to do the same. i have rv/boat parking on both sides of my house. access to a private lake that holds many b.a.s.s. tournaments, and a suv to pull the boat. but cant seem to scrounge the money to get onespencerinstl wrote:Sure. I started out without a boat. And the one I have, I bought for 800 bucks on craigslist just to have something to take out on the lake.october wrote:can i lay my stuff out on the deck in front of my house? does that count?
craigslist seems to think they will get what they paid for it back in the 80's
If it is a private lake how about a john boat with a trolling motor? The biggest part of the cost of buying a boat is the motor. Even though the boat was only 800, I spent 2000 on the motor that I bought from a buddy.
Thanks for the epiphany captain obvious

Guess this can be my hello to the board.

I get this exact same feeling. Knowing Neal, those combos never made it back in the boat again after the pics, lol! He's worse than me about buying and selling, and that's saying a lot!biggs wrote:For some reason I think this picture is going to change a bit!rugbyfisherman wrote:My Lund doesn't have a front deck big enough to display my rods....so I took a picture on the front deck of the house.

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Not sure if this picture is going to post but heres mine. Dont have a boat yet because im still in college, but this is what would be on it. The boat is on my very short list of purchases to buy as soon as I have the money.
Shimano Compre 6'10 mh/xf Shimano Citica 200e
Shimano Compre 6'8 mh/f Shimano Citica 200e
Shimano Compre 7'0 mh/f Shimano Curado 200e7
Shimano Compre 6'6 mh/f Shimano Sedona 2500FD
The last one is an Old Berkley Lightning Rod 5'6 1/4 to 3/4 with Ryobi VMAG 4 combo that I found in my dad's garage and decided to clean it up.I havent fished the old reel yet but the rod is actually pretty sweet for being 20 something years old. Just got the new shimano rod from UPS today so i had one of the citica's on it last time i went fishing.
