Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
It's pretty cool. Definitely wasn't as large a bait as I had expected. I've caught fish on it that I'm not sure would keep in a tournament... I wouldn't hesitate to throw it. You might be surprised.

West Alabama. This was my first trip to this lake my friend fished there a lot and said there weren't any fish over 5lb in this lake but I proved them WRONG!!!!dragon1 wrote:Where you be at?snowman custom baits wrote:Thanks. Those overcast cloudy days are hard to come buy in June down here so I try to not let one go buy.
One of my fondest days was pre-spawn on my friend's private lake in Westminster, CO...I stopped counting bass at around 130 fish...all essentially on a maiden voyage of a Conquest 50, mated to a Zillion 7'0"MF combo on a 1/4oz black/blue bitsy bug and a Zoom Super Chunk Jr. in Sapphire Blue.
Anyone who says that a Shimano/Daiwa or Daiwa/Shimano rod/reel or reel/rod combo is blasphemy, is full of blasphemy in my book!

My forearm was sore the entire next day. It was an absolute blast, as she was one mean fish.Bryanp292 wrote:That must have been a fun fight with "light" gear.Gone Phishin wrote:Please pardon the poor pic.

First ever "Lightning Trout"
Was pitching a senko for bass when this guy clobbered it. Put up a heck of a fight for a 2-3lb trout on some fairly heavy gear.

Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
Went out today, first time targeting smallies. Caught a nice white bass as well.
Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
Good job bud! Not bad for a first time "targeting" a specific species.
Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
Thanks. I've only caught 1 other smallie prior to this, while I was trolling for pike/walleye.
All in all it was a good day. Caught about 20 smallies. Haven't had a day that good since the pike were spawning. And well, 20 perch a day doesn't even come close.
