How much did that Pike weigh?
My scale wasn't working very well, but I think it said 19.5 lbs which matches a weight length chart I found online.

Those are some fat bass tolliver. We're they spawning or just that well fed?
What is that blacked out setup in the first picture? I'm a big fan of that flat black/charcoal look.

They are well fed. I don't think they're still spawning in July. That combo is an Exsence and Cumara 7'-4" first gen.

couldn't get scales to set under throat right believe 8 to 9 lb. the one time it half way stayed in place said 7 6. but looking at the 8 and half pounders thats been caught it was at least that big it was massive for sure. pictures didn't do it justice

I caught one of those on a good course pond in Naples FL. While taking it off the hook I dropped it and it flipped right into my shin. Its dorsal fin somehow pooled me right in an artery... blood shot 3 feet out of my leg for like 3 heartbeats before I covered it. The hole was so small that it clotted in like 5 minutes, but I was freaking out for a second. Those fish look awesome in the water though.
