Dang son, that fish is as long as my 10 year old daughter!

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
Today was nice day for fishing: started with beautiful perch it ended with 5.7 Lb of fury
Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
I was having a hard day on the water. It was my first day in months and I had bites but somehow failed to process it.
I had a solid six lber in the pads but it felt weightless and so i gently pulled up only to see the fish kiss me goodbye.. Out of shear desperation I picked up the Megabass DTC and TDZ r+ ZPI combo and the silent OSP HPF ( so many acronyms ). After two cast not parallel the pads but not perpendicular either this fish hit. He ran and ran yet the DTC was on his but like a heat seeking missile. This fish went underneath the boat one three separate occasion but eventually the battle was in my favor. I got him into the boat and I am not sure how but seems he slapped at the bait and got head hooked.. I really wanted to cast the lure some more but fear of the dreaded bowfin was too great and I just didnt cast anymore... Still this battle was epic and memorable.. I tried to measure him but forgot to weight him..
