I caught a couple small northerns on opener but the real stars are the fish I wasn't even fishing for.

Kids learning to sight fish. My younger son thinks he is pretty cool wearing a pair of his Dad's Polarized Sunglasses. What a goof! They are good fishing buddies. Older brother has "accidentally" fallen in ponds a couple of times. He thinks he's a fish.

A mag topwater fish from Saturday. Not a giant, but a fun one.

Was only able to get this one bass on a frog this afternoon. I actually got another fish about the same size to bite but I didn't get a solid hookset and it came unbuttoned. I had a once a year day yesterday on this same frog, got 10 to 12 bites with the biggest one about a 4 pounder. Didn't have my phone so no pics of those fish but I thought I would go back today and have another great day on the frog but it just didn't pan out. I guess that's what makes the days like yesterday so special.

Cool pic. Is that a Spro frog? I love frog fishing. I am not real great at it, but I absolutely love when they smoke them! Congrats on a good day. =D>

Caught a ton of these guys fishing for pike! Only two pike caught but wasn't able to get any pics!

This weekend when I go I'll take some and post them!

dukhntr, yes that's a Spro, it's the Killer Gill color. It's a great looking frog especially when new. I know you really can't tell from the pic but this one is starting to get pretty beat up, which isn't a bad thing ;) . It looks like someone took some fine sandpaper to it from all the teeth marks, one of the eyes is completely gone. The fish don't seem to mind to much and it's still fishing fine, not filling up with water every other cast or have the "legs" start to come out and the hooks are still sharp.

I could kick myself for only picking up one when I had the chance, every time I've been back to the shop they are all out of only one color, you guessed it... Killer Gill.
