Caught this gal 10 27 20, EG Justine, MB rod, Steez LTD 8.1
Didn’t have a scale but using one of those bass weight equation formulas, Length 22” x Girth 19” puts it about 7lbs. 1 thing I learned, time for me to buy a reliable scale.

Solid fish! There are a lot of reliable digital scales out there. I have an inexpensive Rapala digital scale that is usually within .1 pounds when I way my bags on a certified tournament scale in my derbies.

I carry one in my boat and one in my backpack for shore fishing.

Another large trout (69 cm, 3-4 kg I guess) from last saturday. On trout casting gear. Or rather, trout rod (Daiwa Wise Stream 6'2") and saltwater reel (newest Daiwa Morethan SHL with ZPI NRC001M).

Caught 12 seatrout from 40 to 69 cm on this particluar trip. Season is ending and winter is coming...

Dalleinf, that's outstanding! What lure did you use to catch it?

It was a good trip - third this year with 10+ trout of >40cm. Also the third biggest trout this year.

I used Mapso Ory #2 (4 gram) with gold blade:
http://mapso.es/en/ory-ory-grub-fishing ... -rojo.html

The Mapso spinners (spanish) are very similar to Mepps (french) and Ilba (italian).

If not on spinners, I catch most on minnows (this year Tiemco Laks 60s has been great) or JDM spoons (Smith Pure etc).

Cheers!
