Couple more little guys from today...first one on a frog, second one on a watermelon magic bass pro stick-o (the fish in the pond prefer the bass pro brand for some reason).

The carbonlite is only a temporary home for my Met MG7. It is destined for a MB XX tour versatile.

Got out last week for a day of Walleye and Bass fishing from a lake here in the Kawarthaws, no giant but getting the hang of swim baits in the pads…That Shimano Expride 7'1H has held up great, it's accurate, strong on hook sets, never twisted or came loose on multiple fish just impressed all around. Chronarch D7 and 40lb SX1 Braid by Sunline. The bait is the 4.8" Swinging Hammer from PowerTeam Lures

The real trip starts next month, 2 weeks of flipping, froggin, and camping!

Got a few fish and christened a combo this weekend. Nothing too big. The fish are not slamming a Senko like they have been the past month or so, so I've finally got into some jig and beaver fish. Finally broke it in Gblaze!

Grass has been growing up nicely so I have been throwing the frog a lot more next to the chatterbait. Frog caught a few nice ones this past weekend paired with a Curado I HG. Milfoil and hydrilla were very thick in places and reel did a great job pulling them out.

But as usual, the chatterbait catches the bigger fish.

Had a few fish on that ran back into the grass like a bull stripping drag and then come off. Had my drag pretty tight and made me wonder, What just happened?

I don't think this bass was hungry, but it was greedy enough to attack my Giant Dog-x!

It's been a long time coming. I always have it with me, just never got bit with it or switched to it. My buddy caught a 5lber out of a thick mat and it gave me the idea to try punching them with this combo, it has worked! Froggin has me hooked now though!
