Gopro Levels video
Gopro Levels video
New video uploaded. Its a compilation of about a month or so's footage from before the closure on the Susquehanna and Juniata rivers.
Hatcam sent me some free hats to use. No sponsorship, just using me for free advertising haha. The Hatcam is pretty cool for anyone getting into this kind of filming. It comes with a tripod mount on the brim of the hat. Its not quite as comfortable as a regular ball cap but its much more comfortable then the head strap that comes with the gopro.

Ive been fairly busy lately with work so I wasnt able to put a much time into this video but I still hope you enjoy!

Great video. Just a heads up. On the Video you left the "s" off www.hatcams.com. The site without the "s" is not one your family would want to visit. Wow, I didn't even know there was porn on the Interweb..................

Re: Gopro Levels video
How do you like your GoPro?
I've been debating on getting a GoPro or just get a hatcam package with a flip HD. I think it would be cheaper but the GoPro seems to have more product support as it's a whole company based around the camera itself.
Does the bill of the hat feel heavy with the GoPro camera mounted on there? 3hr battery life and no backscreen on the GoPro kind steers me away. They are making a lot of money off their add-ons and that was their main goal it seems so I find it unlikely that they will come out with a good cam with all that stuff on it already. To me it's like that cam is going back in time as far as cam features goes besides the shooting quality.
Sorry to go OT but your vids kinda piqued my interest in getting a GoPro.

No problem. I love the gopro. I don't know if it's the best out there since I have no experienc with other cameras. It's fairly simple to operate after a quick read through the directions. Keep in mind you will need a powerful computer with an good editing program if you want to make your own videos.legendaryyaj wrote:How do you like your GoPro?

The low battery life gets annoying but you can get extra batteries on the net for around $12. I would also recommend getting a 32gig sd card. They fill up fast.
I can feel the extra weight on the brim of the hat but it doesn't feel heavy. I really like the hatcam hat.

Re: Gopro Levels video
I have a Gopro Hero 2 and a Contour. The Gopro is a better camera to wear, although I prefer the sound you get with the Contour. To get sound you have to use the skeleton back on the Gopro. If I could just have one, it would have to be a Gopro, with a couple of extra batteries and a wall changer. They keep coming up with new options for them, so they are improving all the time. You can buy a basic unit and add on whatever you like, video screen, remote, bigger battery, flat lense etc.
Because of this post I've ordered 3 hats, one with a Tachyon OPS HD camera. Thanks for the heads up Jraymond.
