My first MB
After getting a lot of use out of my skeet reese flipping and pitching rod I decided it was time to upgrade a little. I did a lot of looking and after some help from bronzefly I decided to take the megabass plunge and get the super red demon. This rod is an absolute beast and I cant wait to get it on falcon and see how it performs. I threw a steez I had laying around on it just for the picture but im thinking of pairing it with a zillion type r or a z200hs.
Not much of a picture but then again im not much of a photographer
I gotta give tackletrap and bronzefly a shout out....this was my first purchase from tackletrap but it will not be the last. Customer service is above and beyond

Nice rod to start with! The steez looks at home on that rod.
I went through this recently as well. I purchased my first megabass rod after talking with gary. I had a specific need and after his help, I went with the cover hacking. Awesome rod and exactly what I was looking for. I have added 2 more megabass rods the rattle viper and super orochi. Got to give a shout out to Gary and Brian at the tackle trap. They are doing some great things over there and tackle consulting is a special part of it.

Steez looks perfect on that rod. The entire Black Jungle line is pretty inspired. Very nice indeed.

It was a pretty nice upgrade I'm having problems deciding on the reel but I'm leaning towards the type r...it just feels better in my hands than the z doesdamian_megabass wrote:A little upgrade? you mean yuo went from a Ford Focus to a Lamo!

I've had so many years practice at doing that, it's a piece of cake now!Sledgehammer wrote:They really are great...Gary even went out of his way to help me make sure the wife didn't see it
Thank you for all the kind words guys! I sincerely appreciate all the support The Tackle Trap has received from the Tackle Tour community!
That Super Red Demon is just incredible. Falcon is an ideal proving ground for it too... I really hope you post up some pics and your impression on it's performance in that nasty heavy cover down there. Next time I go back to Falcon, you bet I'll be taking my Super Red Demon with me
