I wanna post some pics of my recent Metanium but I don't use photobucket.
Besides , the purple hedgehog star drag won't be in until later this week : )
Anyone wanna post a few pictures for me? : )

Wow! you know what I just noticed?

I ordered the Vanquish c3000 and in my Vanquish c3000 box was a C3000HG.

What's up with that???

Oh well, guess high gear will be fine :)

That is strange. I ordered a c3000 and got a c3000. Does yours have a c3000 body with an hg spool, or the whole hg package?

Mine is the c3000hg, I checked by reeling it and its 6 turns for on handle turn.

First BFS type reel, haven't been able to "test" the new spool's capabilities yet because I don't have a rod I think is capable of getting the best from it. I've made numerous changes (eg. Core 7:1 gears, Carbontex drag etc) but stayed with all Shimano parts except for the drag washers. I'm not sure exactly why, I just got the idea in my head for an "all Shimano" BFS reel so that's what I did.
