Shimano got it right with that two-tone paint. Sexier than the current model.

Re: Where are the shimanos?
Wanted a glorious ever since the introductory thread in the jdm section. Said I'd never buy one. I just had to rethink the no warranty deal and realize I had never had a blank fail. I also had the busiest year of my life...new job and I just finished harvesting my largest grow to date. Here is the trunk of my jack herer tree...the biggest cannabis plant I've ever grown....or seen.
Re: Where are the shimanos?
Rods are 7'm xc, 6'10"m mighty stroke, 6'11" mh hyper approach, and 7-4" mh biwako. Ordered 2 from ebay (shimreels), then 2 from jdm tackle haven. Tackle haven is by far the cheapest place to buy jdm rods I found out...and it's not even close. Shipping was also only $75 for both rods from haven, shipped in the same tube.
Re: Where are the shimanos?
Dope! Pun intended? . I've got the hyper approach, it's an awesome rod. I'm in the market for a PG BFS rod and I've been looking at jdm tackle heaven, looks to be my cheapest option if I can't source a lightly used one stateside. I'd also be interesting to hear your take on the XC too when you get a chance to use it.KP Duty wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 7:11 pmRods are 7'm xc, 6'10"m mighty stroke, 6'11" mh hyper approach, and 7-4" mh biwako.
