Punched slop last summer with a Curado 7'7 Heavy used the NRX916UBR before that finally got the rod I've always wanted to get for the technique. GLX954C FPR am I ever glad I did. Very light rod at 7'11 the extra length for working the bait up and down as well as the leverage when punching a little further away from the boat is going to be nice. It's a hair stiffer than the Curado yet softer than the NRX...Think it's going to be perfect! Next will be a IMX-PRO TWFR, another 905C Conquest and a few reels cant wait for spring shopping to begin! :D

Nothing done to these reels yet but I have a new gearset, drag washers, and handle nut to install on the Core. I’m also dropping bearings onto the levelwinds in all of the reels that will take a bearing.

Picked up a Essence spinning, Curado 70 and a Metanium MGL this month as well as 2 1000 yd spools of Seaguar Tatsu. Along with various odds and ends.

The new Stellas, in my opinion are one of the best looking spinning reels ever produced.
Just sexy and elegant.

Nicely assembled. Not just a pretty face. Color coding by application should assist in quickly grabbing the right bait.
