Is that the shallowest of the three 713 non BFS spools? Please let us know how it performs. I have been looking at those.

Where'd you find the CI4+ Yumeya spool. Been waiting for that one myself.Bootytrain wrote:Instead of taking off the expensive Sunline Flouro from the stock spool, I just bought the Yumeya shallow spool Its about as shallow as the Met spool but at 15.3 grams is alot heavier though.

This is where I got it. Im not sure it's much of an upgrade in performance to be honest. Its 1 gram heavier than the stock spool. I was able to throw down to 3/16th with some tweaking of the brakes. I'm going to give it a work out this weekend for a better evaluation of the spool. I do love how it's looks though lol

I got to break the camera out again soon got some new rods this fall. Going to tone it down in 2016 my TT monkey needs to get off my back as I have a fixer upper boat to build and get ready first
Beauty spool on the CI4+ love the look. Sick Metanium too Ryan looks awesome!

Re: Where are the shimanos?
How shallow is the spool? Maybe you can use it for pitching and flipping with 14-16 pound line.

Re: Where are the shimanos?
If you are talking about the yumeya spool its only marginally shallower than the stock spool.. Its about on par with the stock metanium spool in depth. But its far less ported and weighs 3 grams more than the met spool. Shimano japan originally listed it at 13.8 grams but when I got it and put it on the scale it read 15.3 grams, I said WTF? So I checked on the website and saw they corrected the weight lolIAY wrote:How shallow is the spool? Maybe you can use it for pitching and flipping with 14-16 pound line.
