R-ITO

Post by africanbass » Wed Dec 12, 2012 9:21 pm

I have always fancied the wild colors on the classic M-ITO.The gold however is not my favorite color on a reel
The right handed M-ITO also has too little orange in the mix(drag star only)
Here is my take on the R-ITO.
The reel is paired with a custom GLX 843.This makes a killer spinnerbait setup :D

Very Very nice indeed. =D> I do believe you've captured the essence of the M-Ito quite nicely. Beautiful work Craig. =D>

Wicked! I like how the red on the handle sideplate ties in with the reel seat and the fore nut winding check. Fabulous looking setup.

The parts were anodized. The Ryoga proved to be a problem child in this regard
Certain parts would not color properly, others had corrosion problems. This could be due to different alloys being used :-k
Hence the 'cranberry red' side plate

The images are blocked at the office so I am REALLY anxious to see these when I get home. Craig always does such classic stuff. I'm sure I will like it.
