Just finished my CU-100B. Baught from a guy on another forum for a great price. I missed my CU-200B, that I bought brand new in 94, that I sold due to being too bulky for me. Decided this was gonna be my new daily user. Ordered a Boca Bearing Abec 5 bearing kit, and a Carbontex drag. Decided to take the handle and drag star off of my CiticaG6 and mount it on the reel. For extra smoothness, I took 4 bearings I had laying around that my friend from HawgTech gave me, and put them in the knobs for a 2 bearing per knob deal. This thing slings baits, and reels them in as smooth as butter. Very happy with the outcome of the reel. Its a one of a kind now.

Cool! Always nice to see a classic still in use. With the extra upgrades, it should be very nice to fish. =D>

Decided to switch it up a bit. Matched it to my CuradoE7 trimmings. Now its like a "then and now" setup. I think it looks a little better now.

I found that the E/G series drag stars bottom out on the side cover. I am using Ch 50 MG drag stars instead with Curado 50 E handles with bushing replaced with another bearing.

A little fine tuning goes a long way ;)
