Thanks guys
Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
Very nice, I got both of the Ringa and they are fantastic casters. The SLC has decent distance and almost impossible to backlash, very good on windy days. I order a few parts to bling up my SSS, just have to wait till after the Bon festival in Japan before they get their asses back to work. Why don't we have a week long holiday where everybody shuts down and commemorate

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
I may be swapping in a Gigas R+ spool to try and get more distance, wont know till I get the rod it's intended for, spool it up, and fire some shots in the yard. Not sure if I want to do the 6.8 gears in it yet or not either, I have a R+ spool for that too Is the SSS a beast? I thought about trying to find the SSS spool as it seems to be highly desirable...may just find myself a Ringa-SSS. I agree man, seems like every other country does it!Pen3 wrote:Very nice, I got both of the Ringa and they are fantastic casters. The 6.8 pinion gear is longer so the old spool will not center.

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
I have a Gigas R+ for both platforms, TD-Z and Millionaire, waiting on the SLC after I test the stock spool. If I want more speed the R+ MIllionaire is going in...if I want a faster retrieve the R+ TD-Z is going inPen3 wrote:The 6.8 pinion gear is longer so the old spool will not center.

That 105 looks sexy on that DX. My next Steez will be the 105.
Question? I know it's 8 gear something, but are the gears brass or aluminum? I'm trying to justify getting one, but my LTD TN Steez, is fitting the light Swim Jig bill pretty good. An 8 gear burner on a NRX803 might just be calling my name!
