Show off your hole.......
Show off your hole.......
.......Fishing hole that is , your spot that you fish the most. I constantly scope out places whenever I drive around and imagine myself throwing certain lures at different spots that catch my attention. Basically I love to find a new spot and checking out spots in general, so.....here's my spot that I fish probably 80% of my time (because it's my in laws backyard )

The land in the distance are islands...the opposing shore can't even be seen.dragon1 wrote:Wow Toku...that's big water in the second pic!

Between the shore and the islands on the Western Basin it maxes out at 60ft. I think the max depth on Erie is 210'. It is pretty shallow as the Great Lakes go.sac wrote:Wow beautiful pics..... I would be lost in all that water lol how deep?

The lake in front of our house:
The river that is seven miles down the road:
Over 150 days a year are spent on one or the other.

Your a lucky guy!
Re: Show off your hole.......
I blown away at these pics! I've lived in FL my whole life and never really experienced these amazing waters you guys are posting. Everyone around here are living the "Salt Life" and find myself being the few Bass fisherman around here. My local tackle shops saves a dark little 2 foot corner in the back of the store for the fresh water gear
I'm kinda jealous

I saw the title and vowed to stay away from this thread. But just like 2G 1Cup I couldn't resist and had to take a peak. I was relieved and yet oddly disappointed

you boys sure have alot of nice holes
Re: Show off your hole.......
This is a local resevoir. Lots of wipers, catfish, and good sized walleyes in this water.
This is from the pond behind my house. Pretty big bass and catfish for such a small body of water; roughly 2 acre pond. Bass are pretty rare in this area, as most resevoirs don't even bother stocking them.
Here's another from the lake behind my house.
Lastly is a private pond that I have been granted access to fish. Probably the best bass fishing in KS and has some monster bluegills which are great on ultralight gear. I've caught a couple 7lb+ bass out of this little sanctuary.

Super clear water! What colors have been working the best in that private pond?
