Finally scratched the itch and got one of these.. fished it this weekend and its easily a match in casting as my Aldebaran BFS. 8-) Not as smooth on the retrieve and the clear coat finish was pretty horrible for such a pricey reel but I knew that going in from Mcyl's report.

Hello to all here, new to this forum and would love to share some pictures here!

My KTF alphas finesse custom. Did a on-the-water comparison with a stock alphas finesse custom with this monster and never looked back since :lol:

Thought that was an SS air for a second.. Very nice looking reel!

I was looking for one of those for over a year...oh well not anymore i have something...quite a bit more secretive :D :D

You actually getting somewhere on the scorpion DC bfs project? Or maybe the ZPI metanium?

My two finesse reels, conquest 51 & bfs xg

Conquest has hedgehog air bearings, 80mm zpi handle, zpi knob bearings and handle nut, weighs 7 oz's.

Bfs has hedgehog air bearings, 80mm offset zpi handle, zpi knobs and bearings, weigh 4.9oz's

Considering lighter spools, but they cast light baits so well already... :big grin:
