Nice fraternal twins, John!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Thank you sir! The Yellow Pixy will get more "treatment" in the near future while the Airy Red is all done! 8-)

Not the greatest picture, but my little 2-piece, spiral-wrapped ML Otterroods custom has finally found its partner in a Conquest BFS. I was casting a 16th oz Roostertail nicely the other day on a trout stream.

This BFS thing has reenergized my fishing, and we just might have to call BFS the new "dark-side!"

Anyway, I think I was born for BFS because I have so many small lures that were just out of reach for conventional casting tackle. BFS has opened up a new world of fun!

My Conquest BFS and my Conguest 50. The 50 is on a Loomis GLX Crankbait rod, their lightest action. These two handle my small-ball.

Just tested new CT Steez with hawgtech ceramic hybrid bearings. This reel surpassed Aldebaran BFS with two meters. Lure weights 2,6g. Aldebaran cast it 21m and CT 23m (84,5ft) !!

Lovely setups. The Conquest BFS looks to be a smaller reel than the 50. Is this correct or a perspective thing? Cheers

Sore Thumb, the sideplete on the Conquest BFS is most definitely (and measurably) smaller than the Conquest 50. Of course the BFS has the larger gear area on the handle side.

Even though the left side plate of the conquest bfs is smaller, the reel sits up higher on the rod.
I feel the conquest 50 still palms like the smaller reel of the two.

By any chance did you test the steez w/ stock bearings? I knew the new ct was for finesse but didn’t know it can get into bfs weight lures.

Thanks! :D Rod weights 65g. It's shorten to 190cm.
