Thank you. I researched and bought all the stuff to gold chrome the plastic front nose piece but failed. By the time I got it right I ran out of material. Sent it to a professional to get it done.

Test spoon in chrome before gold tint applied

Thank you. Appreciate the kind words. Took a photo of a bass next to my reel and she kicked it up and it landed on a rock, she then flopped all over it before jumping back into the water.

Just got this. An old Langly Target mechanical reel. It has very light weight ported aluminum spool and a short handle. The spool and handle free spin eaisily with a flick of the thumb. Should be a fun wall hangar to play with. I want to disassemble it and weigh the rotating assembly. Black Max 3 for comparison.

Target 340. This is also probably not a good time to let you know that Amo on Aliexpress has BFS spools for the old Daiwa Millionares of you have a classic round reel itch.

Don't have one. That pic is from Amo's Aliexpress site. They are a little on the pricey side too.
