Pixy spools are great. They are the opposite of SV spools. I can appreciate that.

I won’t deviate from the topic but I will say of the BFS preferred reels the pixy is the one I’ve seen used for frogs and pitching. It’s just as capable of going heavy as it is BFS.

The KTF spool is nice but the roro spool is on another level. I can cast .5 gram no problem with roro air spool. My friend said he cast as low as .3 gram.

It can be found on Ali Express. Spool weighs 3 grams and costs 1/3 KTF price. Change out bearing and polish shaft ends and its on another level for casting under 1 gram.

Good to know , wish I’d know a few weeks ago because I came across a KTF spool. They certainly punch
you in the pocket.
Still I’ll have to try that roro spool.
