Perfect match

Post by kakaryan » Sat Nov 22, 2014 6:14 pm

I have always been hunting for a better matched reel for my "ultimate longcast weapon".

http://forums.tackletour.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=53176

Daiwa has released the Morethan PE SV this year but it was a bit disappointing. 34mm only SV spool, TWS, 50,000yen and made in Thailand! Not much better than my FX68 + SV1000 spool. I was expecting a larger 36mm SV spool and made in Japan for that $$...... :-k

Gladly, Megabass does not disappoint me.

They match perfectly huh? :big grin: (A gold line guide from other Zillion may even be better).

Blooded the IP68 with the first seabass of this season. :big grin:

Sometimes I use the Daiwa I'ze Zillion HLC spool in this reel. Casting a Evergreen Marvie 70 (16g) it reaches 50m easily.

The I'ze Zillion HLC spool is not difficult to control. It shines with 1/2oz(14g) up baits but I can still cast down to 1/4oz (7g) with ease. Just tighten the cast control knob a little bit. ;)

That looks amazing, another thing to add to the list of must haves... crap, sometimes I hate this place (well my wallet does)

Great color combo. A better version of a BBS. Please give us a review of the combo.

Is this true, the reel is made in Thailand?

I couldn't imagine not getting a "Made in Japan" product when considering a reel of this caliber. Beauty combo man congrads, looks awesome.

I am looking to pick one of these up in right-handed. How would you compare the stock spool to a standard Zillion?
