Yup price we pay for resource management up here. 3rd Saturday in June until late December. Basically your allowed to fish once the bass complete there spawn up here. Most opener's the bass are still spawning but not always. But it's all we know, never been able to fish bass when there spawning and doing there thing. It's the same for Walleye opening in May after there spawn, as is with Pike/Musky season once there down spawning your allowed to fish for them.

Clean waters, healthy fish and a ever growing population. The way they manage it up here keeps our fisheries healthy for years to come.

On with the tackle boys!

What if you are casting for pike and one of those pesky little smallmouth just happens to eat your bait? Or is the season closed for pike as well?

Dobyns Champion 765 flip. Heavy cover / swimbaits rod. Loved the new Leviathan but can't fit in the basement/car. The 765 flip has a nice soft tip and enough power for what I needed.

Megabass XX Diablo Spec-R. Chatterbaits and swimjigs .

Megabass XX Shakey Head. Deep drop shot.

Got any pics of the full man cave? Looks like you have a pretty sweet setup there. I mean, who has a glass display case in their house for reels?

Looks really good. I like the way the Metanium looks like a modern version of the TD-Z Type-R +.
