Lots of new custom rods projects... excessively pic heavy

Post by savacs » Fri Apr 03, 2015 4:59 pm

I have had some cool projects lately, and thought I'd share some of them.... As you might think... I haven't gotten out that much lately :(, but have something to show off with

Phenix UMBX-700MH, with ALPS MVT reel seat, Matagi parts and Fuji Torzite guides:

Andrew's Fishing AF-TK62XUL (unfortunately discontinued) extended to 6'6" with Matagi parts and Torzite guides and custom decals

The next one is a BF Elixir 6' quickly made with "scraps" I had laying arround, leftovers from past projects, that just mixed in perfectly into this one rod. If you think some of the parts on the handle I have laying around the shop for almost 2 years now :D . Of course this is mine, as I don't know who would've accepted a rod with a handle made out of "scraps" \:D/

This Phenix K2, TX-736H-C is for the US :) . Will be leaving for the US on Monday... TX-736, extended to 7'6", Torzite guides, ALPS MVT reel seat, custom decals and Matagi parts.

These 2 I've made for a FC Steaua fan, that lives in Germany. As you can see there's a lot of colour I had to work with, but I believe I nailed it in the end. St. Croix 5C68MF-B and Andrew's AF-TK66ML blank with Matagi, ALPS AGC reel seat, and all Torzite Guides...

I have some more, but I think it's more than enough for now ... Enjoy !

the first 2 casting rods in that line up are by far my favourite, just personal taste there, however the attention to detail you put into those rods is simply beautiful.

great job

You Sir are an artist.

Great work! I just had a MHX Gen 2 Dropshot rod done with a Fuji VSS grip with the nut down like your Avid redo. The Fuji cork foregrip for the VSS is a little long for my medium hands. The Avid redo is just what I want for a shorter cork VSS foregrip to get my forefinger on the blank. Did you shave it or buy it that shape? Thanks.

Not many folks could make those FC Steaua colors work and you NAILED it! Thats when you know you have style.
