Fishing the Flood Plains

Post by aussiebasser » Thu Apr 16, 2015 1:56 pm

I just had a couple of days away, fishing on the floodplains of the Northern Territory, up in Crocodile Dundee country.

The LIN 10 on the Slant Bridge Jota is a wonderful combination. Barra fishing perfection.

Awesome! It looks like the barra is kissing the Jota in homage.

I must say tho, am I the only one who thinks fishing where crocs roam is less than ideal?

He's never got a metre fish in Love Creek. 90s are good fish out there. My biggest was 83 on the 8 weight.

If you don't want to fish with crocs you wouldn't be able to fish the Northern Territory. You just need to be aware that they're there and be careful.

You got some cajones Aussie...cause for this Ohio boy, large, hungry lizards are near the top of the "I'm outta here" list.
