Going into hibernation

Post by biggs » Wed Dec 02, 2015 10:42 am

Its going to be a long winter. These guys are going into hibernation until spring.

.....but at least I'm finally done with reels!
:^o

PX68R

IP79 - I have two of these. Amazing reels.
Image

SSSV - This will have a Steez nose piece added sometime over the winter.
Image

FX68 - This reel is next to get a few parts.
Image

Steez - Maybe an SV spool in its future?
Image

TDZ 103H - I like the green SLP way more than I thought I would, chartreuse J-Braid to finish this off.
Image

IS79 - =P~
Image

FX73-110 - =P~ =P~ Very excited to use this one.
Image

IS73 Viola - Do I need to say anything about this beauty??

Sorry about the pic quality, iPhone and all. I probably drop that thing once a day.
Thanks for looking.

That's a fine bunch of reels! Congrats!

I have the FX68 LTD and I'm anxious to try it out. It's going on top of a Hyuga 72H. What can I say? I love purple. 8-[

My reels should be returning from Ian's Spa soon and then they will be going into hibernation...like yours. :(

I love my green SLP knobs too, you've convinced me to get at least one set of white now.

Great reels! Hibernation happens, and then the winter monkey takes over and you end up with all new gear by spring :)

Love the green knobs, I had to have a set for one of my TD-Z's too. Sadly it's that time of year...excellent lineup!

Seriously, I should update this thread in April to see what's changed!

Took me a while to find a reel they work with. They sat in the parts box all summer. I think they look really nice on the SSSV.

Good projects for hibernation. Viola never does get old. Hibernation from the heat is almost over for me.
