Re: Edge Rod
Yeah I nearly forgot about edge. Was always curious about edge as well.
Re: Edge Rod
I've seen them for sale in a couple of shops around DFW. They seen to be exceptionally made with the NFC blanks and carbon fiber grips, very nice. I've been told that they are somehow associated with TFO, which happens to be a local company.

Re: Edge Rod
There was a thread a while ago in which it sounded like they started changing their builds without letting anyone know and I don't think they ever really took hold in the market.

Re: Edge Rod
They are popular here in Australia, I have been fishing one for 6 months or so, they are pretty good.
I have never fished a rod that is more sensitive, not saying one doesnt exist but I have never fished one. Saying that the styling isnt for everyone, and not everyone likes recoils, but they have their place in my quiver.

Re: Edge Rod
Yep all coming back now. They were spiral wrapped as I recall and sensevitey extreme would relate to his products. And Where are they now is a good question. Thanks for you input and same for OP.
Re: Edge Rod
They are still around. I have the 705 and it is a superb rod, however, it is light on the power. The MH feels more like a medium. Also, I wouldn't consistently throw lures on the top end of the lure rating. Mine is strictly for light or weightless plastics.
