ALX ZOLO LT

Post by africanbass » Sat Jan 09, 2016 8:12 pm

New addition to the rod line up,
ALX ZOLO LT (signature series limited production rod)
7'2" medium/light fast.
So enjoy the Eiger Northwall, but have always wished it was a tad longer.
I think I have found my ideal rod :big grin:

That looks phenomenal! I take it they don't make that length and taper in a regular line, eh?

Beautiful combo, if it's better than the EN you got something special. =D>

Looks great! :D I see the rod was a limited run. Where did you order from?

Great looking combo. I've always wanted to ask you, do you ever have trouble with crocodiles?

The rod is a limited special run for the South African market.ALX however does do custom rods on request so you could get something very similar made up for you. They do have a 7'5" ml fast in their range that comes in at 3.9oz.Mine is shorter with true micros and a lighter reel seat,so I'm sure even a tad lighter than the Zolo Speedfury.
Still need to fish the rod, only had a couple of test casts.from initial impressions it feels like a winner.
Will do a full review shortly.

I heard that about Hippos. I mean, it would kinda suck to have a critter the size of a car come after while you are fishing.

The Steez looks great, but that Pixy. That looks like it's a blast.
