Official introduction post (pic heavy)

Post by Jigandpig518 » Thu Feb 25, 2016 8:20 pm

I've been a member here for a little over a year. I don't post much but I'm on here almost everyday. Thought I would officially insert myself with a "1st post" even thought its not really my first post.
My name is Aaron Likens. I'm 42 I live in northern Indiana and I've been bass fishing my whole life and tournament fishing for 20 years. I've just pretty recently (about 2 years ago) started to get into high end JDM reels. I've always been a Daiwa guy and used the TD X and TD S reels for a long time. It all started when I bought a used Zonda. It's been downhill (if u ask my wife) ever since. Ive met some great members here that have answered a bunch of my questions and drooled over some of the AMAZING collections on this site. Two in particular Teal101 and Megabassjohn. I talk to these guys on the phone and they have answered questions and sold me lots of sweet stuff.
All of these reels I use. I don't really have any "shelf queens" but a few I plan to just look at for a little bit before I take em out. It Took me 8 months to use the first Ito I ever owned. Someday I would love to have a "glass case" collection but not there yet. I have posted some of my reels here and there on the boards but figured I would post my entire horde on this post so here goes.
I tried posting these directly to the site but the pics were all cut off. Sorry u have to link to photobucket.

I would like to have an Ito spinning reel. Did you increase the bearing count on your Procyon's?

No they are stock. I just got the second one mainly so I could get the huk hoodie  I don't use spinning gear very much. I did have the urge to put some different knobs on but they are riveted  But considering you can get these on eBay for a good price it is a decent reel for the money for as much as it is used

I did just that. I'm very dangerous when properly motivated. Now I have my first MB rod on the way thanks to Ryan. He could tell the force was strong with me didn't take much coaxing. If totally seduced by the dark side I'm gonna have to start cooking meth or somthin  Cuz it's gonna get exspensive. I have a used tour versatile and a used perfect pitch en route and probably gonna order an extreme mission and amart flip next week.

Very impressive indeed, congrats! =D>

Love the dressed up IS - just enough bling without being too gimmicky.
