Green Meets Gold "Curado/Custom Build"

Post by Fishing4Fun » Mon Jun 27, 2016 11:04 am

Hats off to TT member Vinnie for another home run =D>. Custom Curado 50e and a MHX Spin jig 842 butt trimmed to 6'10. Dedicated jerkbait and small topwater outfit. Reel seat was sourced from Matagi in what is called vintage green which is sort of mettalic green marble color. Perfect match for the reel! Fuji alconite guides with green and gold trim work. Full cork handle and gold winding checks.

That is a super blank for small jerks and topwater. Good choice. Vinnie rocks =D>

Great looking combo. That green seat really sets it off. Nice blend of pizzazz and classiness =D>

Thanks for all the compliments and I too am happy about the end result. For those of you that are good at spotting similarities between rods here are a few. The cork fore grip piece was from a GLX and the style of the full cork handle was similar to what it is used on the MB Orichi XX rods. Overall I am stocked to give this one a shot soon! :)

I just had to come back and look again....like it a lot! I agree with igl00jx about the real seat. Really makes it pop!

Came back mostly because Vinnie deserves a round of applause too! =D> Whoever you be, nice job bud!
