nice rig there bigpapajim!

I was very close to getting a G3 myself but went for the glass boat in the end... I still love the aluminum rigs though.

Thanks Cal,
It's a 2003. I figured I would beat this one to a pulp for a couple of years, then get a bigger rig.

That would get the job done!

me and my dad like to call boats like that "fishin" boats, for the same reason that some people that have these huge bass boats might just be showing them off but if you see somebody comin in a alum. boat watch out chances are they know what they are doin, that is just my opinion i dont want to start a conflict plezzz  , ohhh ya and awesome boat

I got this for 7K! new it would of been 11.5. It did not get much use at all in 2005, not a scratch on the prop, motor looked brand new (no dust or oil under the cover). No spots on the carpet. I couldnt pass it up.

What threw the deal over the edge was that probably the best place to fish in Mass is a reservoir called the Quabbin Reservoir. The Horsepower restriction is 25 4 stroke or 20 2 stroke.

And since its only 1/2 hour from my house, it was a no brainer.
Since Im not fishing any tournament trail except local ones, I really dont care about getting there quicker or rushing back. I got 2 kids a 4 year old and a 2.5 year old, so It's really about teaching them to fish!

Nice water-bearing vessel bigpapajim. I really appreciate that last sentence of your last thread about your kids. I have a five year old boy, a two and half year old boy who eats like a horse, and a two month old girl. Got to love those kids man.

nice rig jim. I had about the same amount of money you had, and had the same decision between aluminum or fiberglass. I went the other way. Ill post pics later. That is a HUGE flippin deck for that boat. I like it a lot.
