The Rounders Heavy Metal Club
Ok we have the Millionaires club and the Monoblock appreciation society. This is for any round reels. From Daiwa, Megabass, Shimano, Abu to share away. I will start with my family of Daiwas
Re: The Rounders Heavy Metal Club
Sweet. Always had a soft spot for the round ones.
Re: The Rounders Heavy Metal Club
so many power house reels!!!!! I love the handles
Re: The Rounders Heavy Metal Club
These are the round reels in my boat every time out.....except for the Shrapnel that just came a couple weeks ago and is awaiting fall pike and musky season.....can't wait! I believe the Shrapnel will be the best musky reel available.
The Conquest 50 Shallow Special and the Ryoga 1016 with Ize 1012 spool are the two most used reels I have. The 50 rides on a Bearing Down Type X and the Ryoga on a Steez XBD.
I think the Conquest TE is the best cranking reel made for my money and I'd always wanted an Abu Mörrum and found the Forell model a few years ago. A classy reel IMHO.

A personal fave at the moment
Grigio Titanio with 7.2 gears, IS Honeycomb spool, and clicking drag knob conversion.

Not quite round but not low profile either. I suppose it belongs with the rounders.spookybaits wrote:Does this count?
