i use my daiwa luna 103l for cranking and the curado for salmon/striped bass fishing.

I'm sure he is using left and right handed reels to prevent any sort of carpal tunnel or other conditions that come from overuse. I use right and left as well.

reel: Daiwa Coastal Zillion with daiwa steez sv 105 limited handle and spool tension knob and daiwa rcs knob
rod: Megabass Orochi XX Diablo Spec R
I use this setup for 3/8 and 1/2 jigs and occasionally senkos. i use 40lbs suffix 832 braid

This was my first megabass reel i bought and will be with me till the end of time. i freaking love it.
Reel: Megabass IS79
Rod: Megabass Orochi x4 F5-68 Super Orochi
I use this setup for topwater, jerkbait, because its super light and short. also for close quarter pond fishing. oh, and senkos.

Reel: Daiwa TDZ Type R+ with Drave fishing handle knobs and carbontex drag upgrade
Rod: Megabass Orochi XX EMTF - JPN edition
I use this combo to bomb 1/2 jighead with a super fluke for stripe bass.
