Re: My fancy reels
Great reels indeed, maybe my 2 favorite platforms in Daiwa history!
Re: My fancy reels
Big thumbs up! never modest and always a fun place to start somewhere. Be careful as the dark side is strong but dont be afraid to give in haha! Thanks for sharing

Nice. You now need a Steez of some sort.
Re: My fancy reels
Zillions and Alphas. Two of my favorite platforms.

Re: My fancy reels

Re: My fancy reels
Very nice!
Re: My fancy reels
You are right, I suppose the Steez platform should be the next on the list . I lost a auction on a jdm Steez 6.3 oh well maybe next year.Hogsticker2 wrote:Nice. You now need a Steez of some sort.
A steez with a 611 mb bearing down would be sweet!
I plan on pairing the SV 103 6.3 with H power 7' rod. A zbone 5, or something from the usdm destroy line. The sv103 xs 7.9 is going on my mb Faust for frog/flip heavy jigs.
They are smooth sturdy and handsome. I like the black on crome. The cast control is definitely a "set it and forget it" kind of deal. Great all around reel. The first half of the season I had the 6.3 on a 68f51/2xti with 12lb invisx. The second half I had it on my friends compile-x with 15lb invisx, preferred it on the H action rod, I could really bust fish.Fishing4Fun wrote:Nice collection! How do like the SV 103s?
I'm in the market for a topwater/jerkbait rod for the td-z
Thanks everyone for the kind words, I see how this can be addictive!

You may say modest, but those are some dang good reels you got there.
