A quick fishing trip.

Post by aussiebasser » Mon May 08, 2017 11:37 am

Pam and I had 3 days fishing at Carmor Plains in the Northern Territory over Easter. Carmor Plains is located to the east of the Mary River/Shady Camp and borders Kakadu and the Wildman River, about 100 miles from Darwin. We fished Carmor Creek and Love Creek, shore based, cast and retrieve lure and fly only. Total tally for the 3 days was 531 Barra, 2 Forkies (Pam) and 1 Giant Herring (me). A really amazing experience. The biggest fish of the trip was Pams 78cm on fly, her PB.
This is the only means of transportation.

Wow, absolutely gorgeous!

Here's a bit of unedited video. Before anyone mentions fish handling and release methods, there are probable 10 Saltwater Crocodiles in this video that you can't see. It doesn't pay to get close to the water. The last minute and a half of the video is where the action happens.
