great..now I need one of these megabass travel rods.
I was hesitant because I didn't know how the rod would feel with the joints/ connections along the blank, but it looks like it all fits together nicely. Great pictures, thanks!

Okay just thought I'd share some random shots getting ready to go to Patty down south near the border =P~
Reels of choice are both 51e models of my suped up curado 40lb Power Pro and still stock Scorpion XT 1001 12 lb Floroclear P-Line. I should have quite a few techniques covered with those two rods and reels it's been a long time since I've been down there should be fun :big grin:

My apologies for this bout of thread spasm, but I can't help it I'm very excited to have now all four of my Megabass travel rods going with me I've decided :big grin: I figured what the hell why not have all four in the yak at once so that's what I'll do  the other two reels will be my Brenious with 10 lb Power Pro mated with my light configuration 2 piece hyuga and my chronic 201 e with 14 lb sniper will go with my Salamadia MH 2 piece. Both nice and snug in the Sage travel case! Bang Bang boogey. Now let's hope the fishing Gods allow for a bucket Fest or crappie or whatever else is in that Lake ;) I am on lock gear wise O:)

Looks like you are going all out, Cristo. Beautiful setups!

Also, slightly off topic, but I saw Megabass has a new 2-piece model, the Heritage: https://jp.megabassstore.jp/fs/megabass ... tail-38825 . Thought you might be interested.

Never fished a loomis, handled them, but MB has me. So with that being stated I can definitively say MB has it on lock for travel rods. In my hands they are exquisite in forms of performance, aesthetics and straight badassery :big grin: They were outstanding in Kauai this past September! Another of the Salamandia...

Reviving an old post. Forgot how much data/pictures got lost in the last update or transfer whatever you call it for this site or forum. In any case pictures to come sooner rather than later I hope [-o< as I have secured the rights to two super choice specimens to add to my multi piece Megabass travel rods. Mr. Ito and gang finally got my wishes fulfilled with the Valkyrie World Expedition 4pc 7'11 XH(side note I believe it will be inevitable to procure the 8' version as well :big grin: ), I really love the initial short versions as I have been utilizing my 6'6" paired with the Tatula 300HL quite often. So many thanks to Megabass \:D/ Big shout out again as per usual the crew at Triple T and as always Mr. Wood The ever present gear broker of the Millenia, big thank you 8-) The 2nd rod coming down the pipeline is the Triza Dragoon(7'2" rated up to 3oz) and Triza rod case(I have been itching for awhile for this rod series but finally came out with a model to suits my current desires). I definitely look forward to getting work in on this as for those who have been paying attention it has two tips to make this a very very versatile to rod on paper and I'm sure in real water applications as well especially for us avid "yakers" or for those who like me love multi-piece rods and Megabass :P Pictures to come rest assured

UPS came and dropped off the above mentioned specimens. Some "wet the beak" shots more to follow when I get a chance to really get sit down a take some fun pictures of these yet again ridiculously fine samples of Megabass craftsmanship 8-) Some ferrule spigot shots on both rods with one of the 2 tips that come with the Triza Dragoon and the Double locking head on the Valkyrie World Expedition 7'11" XH. These rods are so damn tasty 8-)

Big thanks again to the folks at 3T and Mr. Wood!

Have you had a chance to take the 711XH on the water? I’ve been eyeing the 80XXH for my swimbait needs.

I just got it yesterday so negative but rest assured I will get them out soon.

Anyway some early eastern AZ 🌞

Balance points:

The Valkyrie World Expedition 4pc 7'11 XH with of course a Tatula 300L

Dragoon outfitted with the Ryoga 1520HL, first impressions on the excellent blue highlight finish on applicable areas, so called in the 40lb Marine Blue Super Slick Power Pro to match up a bit, hopefully it will arrive soon as to get water time in 8-)
