Yup. I just installed it last night, so haven't fished it yet, but based on the fit and finish I'm sure it will do just fine. Honestly, it looks just as nice as my rcs hadles. I'm impressed enough that I now have a smaller one on the way for my SV105 haha

I like how the Basszone look like RCS handles and will be switching to those for future carbon handles for my Daiwa reels. The Ray's look like ZPI handles and I not a fan of an after market part knocking off another after market part's appearance by I am OK with one knocking off a manufactuer. I sorta have principles.

One thing with the Basszone though is you'll need extra shims to get the play out of the knobs if you switch them out. Just keep that in mind if you don't have some extras laying around

Already gave away the spool. Will try to get a ZPI PG or KTF spool this winter for it.

Sadly the Zombie Z was stolen recently, if you see it for sale, let me know. I'd like to catch the guy who has it.
That is a shame. Your Zombie Z is one of my favorites on this site. What a loss.
Yes, it hurts. They took a total of 33 of my reels. But I'll rebuild the team.
UGH!!! Tar and feather!!

Insurance pay for any of it?

Insurance has been very good. Fortunately I had photos of all the reels stolen. I've received a lot of support from anglers and the industry in general. A reel very similar to the Z2020 was returned to Daiwa Australia for service and they notified the Tackle Shop that the reel was stolen. It wasn't mine, however it's very reassuring to know that the guys at Daiwa are keeping an eye out for them.

That is good to hear! Great for Daiwa to do that too.

Sorry for the crappy pic, my flash is screwy on my phone.

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Stunning. Awesome pics with the glow of the silver mica and the water droplets and the way the purple pops. Is that a sticker on the spool tension knob?
