Post by antoniolopez944 » Tue Nov 13, 2018 7:30 am

I was curious to see everyones best bass of 2018. My personal best largemouth bass this year was a 6.26 out of the washington dc area.

Lot's of solid fish this year. I broke a hook twice on two different giants, but I don't think either was much over 10. I still managed several in the 8's, and a couple of limits over 30 lbs. I had the spring bite dialed.
The year isn't over yet. The trout stocking in SoCal is under way. I hope to land a few giants over Christmas break. :D

That's why I use my first name and last two initials. I'm old school in that I like to know who is who. The whole secrecy of fancy screennames is fun, but TT and the fishing world are small enough that I prefer to actually know more about people. I want to know the fugly fisherman also

Only got away for 2 vacations this past summer in June we were lucky enough to get a beautiful 5lb 3oz Largemouth and on my August trip I got one a little longer in size that went 5lbs 14oz! Overall I was happy looking for that 6lb+ fish or twice as many 5's next year!

Our tradition is that of the first who sneaked away to the creek when tribe did not really need fish

Impromptu punching grass with 16lb sniper when I figured out they wouldn't come up to eat a frog. 22 1/8th inches. Unfortunately my scale still had the batteries out of it to dry out after flipping the kayak a few weeks prior. I'd estimate 5.5-6lbs out of Shabbona Lake in northern Illinois.

Maybe not the best, but most valuable for sure.
December 2018 club tournament - big fish 5.6 lb , and the kicker for first place.
