I call this professional overrun lol. Same as other story, the lure sturucked in brushes behind. I hate working with 4lb line on these tiny reels.

Holy cow, Adam! That's scary!!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I don't think that I have ever seen one that bad. That takes talent. That probably took forever just to cut out.

Yes, that is pure insanity. I've never seen anything like that! Toddmc is right, one would have to have a special penchant for backlashing to manage something like that. Did they teabag it afterwards?

I read this and was laughing hysterically as I rode down the road with my wife and kids. My wife just shook her head, mumbled something about TackleTour and kept driving. How well does she know me?

Came right out. You just can't beat braid when it comes to manageability.

Well done again. I hope that you are not a natural, and that it is just bad luck! I tried fishing a golf course pond in 40 mph winds at night this week. I was trying to fish 5 lb. Sniper on an SV105 with an R+ inductor spring. No big backlashes, but it w fun to watch my ultralight baits go nowhere. ](*,) You know that you fish too much when you purposely test the limits of various combos for fun! 8-)

Same story. I was trying to cast a crankbait low under some overhangs and caught a little stick coming out of the ground. I thought I was in for a battle to try and recoup that spool, but I only had to pull out maybe two loops. Took about fifteen seconds. I was amazed.

Lol, 40MPH at night? Yes sir, that is asking for trouble. Even if you were casting with that wind they'd go somewhere on the other side of the pond but you wouldn't be able to watch them.

That reel is a casting machine now, BTW. You gotta have a quick thumb right at the beginning of the cast and just give the spool a little half second kiss, but after that it just flies. If you get it wrong when you go for a long cast it will backlash the same way every time. For shorter range and pinpoint stuff it's pretty stress free. I will say this, it's predictable. After about five casts you know exactly what it's going to do. Before it was predictable because you knew you wouldn't backlash no matter what and your bait wasn't going to go very far.
This is the way.
