I found a spare R+ spool in this TDZ PO from a TT member :big grin:

I like 1/8 ML rods and read a recent TT review on the 47. This one is the 7.0 and rated 1/16 - 1/2. In true TT fashion the shoes match the dress. Really excited to try this out. Not too expensive. Ordered direct with discount code. Will make a great guest rod if nothing else. My son's friend snapped a DX702C.

A few accessories complete the new outfit. First time with these lines. TT comments seem great.

I really enjoy a ML casting rod too. Eventually I will have to replace a 6'9"ML 1/8-1/2 rod I enjoy (cheaper blank and components) so I like to learn about all possible models. Did the Dobyns mentioned snap under use or accidental foot/limb/etc.???

DX702C broke in transit not in use.
Great warranty. Sent in part of the rod with $100 and a new one will be on way.
