My 2 Volkey ned chuckers. A Volkey 682L with a Pixy Silver Mica with Airy Red spool for 1/10 oz heads with 3 to 5 inches of elaztech plastic. A Volkey 652UL with an SS SV103 with fixed inductor Ray's spool for 1/20 oz heads and 1.5 to 3 inch plastics. I still need to get RCS cork knobs for the Pixy.

What did you do to make that a fixed inductor spool?
Super glue. I grabbed the inductor, pulled it out and squirted some glue into the air brake area. Moved it back and forth for coverage and held it extended until it dried. The spool was super wild and never worked right since I got it.

I have a ZPI M spool in my IS73
What else do you use that Eiger for?

The Super Eiger is probably the most sensitive rod I own. Nice setup! 8-)

other single hook presentations i've used the eiger are t-rigs, wacky, neko, jika, micro jigs/spinnerbaits. i also find the action versatile enough for treble hook presentations (small cranks and poppers). i keep the lure weight between 1/8oz-1/4oz. i'll have to check out the zpi m spool, currently i'm using a sv105.

Cool, I have my reel on nothing
its smaller in size than the IS79 or at least it feels that way. I've put it on the same rod and it "feels" different and lighter
so I am on my quest to find the best feeling rod for it.. I keep coming to the hein but have been fighting the MB force in
search of something different or better.. when I see any X7's come up i try to snatch them.
