Huge Weekend for the Yamamoto Senko!

Post by BlakeInOhio » Tue Apr 25, 2006 12:22 pm

I caught three nice bass using a 5" junebug Yamamoto Senko worm this past weekend. I only got pictures of the first and third though. Check 'em out!

Although spinnerbaits are my favorite bait, the senko is my most productive. I use the watermelon/lemon laminate and they are a bass killer(not literally. I'm a catch-and-release guy).
How were you fishing them? I like to fish them wacky style and pitch them close to docks or in weed beds with a slow jerk retrieve. Bass can't resist it. :P

I'm just fishing this weightless, flipping it near cat tails. It's been working really well. I missed one tonight though. Didn't set it good enough I guess.

QNT, that is the only color Senko I throw!
