Search over...Core 51mg7 has been procured 8-)
I think you'll be happy with your purchase. I have one mounted on a Cumulus 71MH, and it is my designated rig for T-rigged baby rage craws. I've fished it hard for years, caught a lot of fish with it as well, and it still keeps slingin'.

Some of my 50E's. Brian.
The curado with golden parts looks really, really nice!

Bastarld got a new partner???.....yes I am about 5 years late on this telescoping beauty. This one is the 3rd Black Jungle I have had the chance at(other two were just cranking stick models but since long gone) The Double Bull has been on my radar in what had seemed forever as I have a thing for MB telescoping rods. Finally was able to button up a deal for a cherry one, bag/tag still intact :big grin: Hell of a find for me and way more rod than I imagined aesthetic wise(can't tell but the fleck Iin the reel seat is sexy) and power curve. Damn this is going to get some work. Big spoons probably for now but I am hopefull the muck/vegetation will come up better this season so I can go weightless double wide beavers as well as typical T-rig with tungsten on 6/0 Monster Gamakatsu EWGs. Here is some "pron" of stated specimen. I seem to been finding a different blank tech to be all in on :P .....it was X7/ASLs now it is the quiet but superb Pyrofil 8-) I seem to slowly be getting a squad of just that blank tech representatives :-k I will get some more thoughts on this bad boy once I get consistently going again. So much to say but for now I leave you all with my initial excitement 8-)

Fleck shots, and more Pyrofil detail in the sun along with some thread detail on the portion of the telescoping transition. love those details among others, Double footed guides almost all the way up withtraditional setting(I believe P3 7'11" is spiral/acid which I dont have yet), which is different from similar telescoping build specimens of MB where in my experience the first 2 guides recieved that double footed treatment.

I am heading to Kuaui tomorrow but my man Akira Kato from good ole HHS came through with this care package today. Talk about a sweet send me off. A little before and after. She is what I call an "Airy Frogger" :P Paired my Core 51mg7 with the White Python now for maximum hollow bodied excellence  Super stoked about the addition of the new ALD0950RR, pairing that with Red Air BFS bearings should make this rig zip hollow bodies out there far and with ease :-k Kept the OG gears but added a new Carbontex washer set, plus some Daiwa SLP glow corks with matching red knob caps, handle nut retainer and red body screws to round her out. Nothing really that hasn't been done before probably but as usual thanks for letting me share.

Not much but updated the Brennie, Metallic Magenta SLP knobs(big thanks to Bryan Lambert over at Triple T!)with Shimano reels 8-) plus an Avail handle and took the 15lb PP off in exchange for 4 lb P-Line mono which is still mated to the 6'4" 2pc light for gentle river awesomeness :P

Please oh please oh please if someone has a royal purple spool for this particular platform not the super shallow one but the deeper version I don't remember the quite the model number but if people have one they know what I'm talking about so please cough one up the last piece I need to really bring this reel where I really want it to be at  long shot [-o<

Had a laugh this morning, I was coffee and sativa upward when I awoke and had this itch  I was updating this Curado 51e (giving the Daiwa SLP metallic green knobs a second go-around as some of you remember I had them on my all black and grape purple accented MB IS platform "The Hulk" anyway I like them enough jury still out though I think it'll definitely help when I get that additional black piece :laugh1: ) I had everything lined up and it looks like I forgot one major piece what do you guys think that could be  I could have swore I had one in all black Surplus somewhere in my reel box parts  anyway as you can see that's a part I need :P I need one of those old school lowered truck under construction signs

Phoenix Suns fan in me decided to throw the left over orange accents on the Brennie 8-) ....Home and away jerseys were the inspiration :big grin: Still some minor accents(proper colored nut retainer screws in this case for both reels and yes still in need of a royal purple spool for the Brennie [-o< ) to work out but in a holding pattern given the circumstances with Intermodal and Logistics

I was blessed with this small trip this morning. We've been on fire again unfortunately with some major road closures by some of our major reservoirs but looks like the lower Salt River is open for business. I was actually searching for rainbow trout when I was blessed with this little guy who definitely made my week( really crushed that quarter ounce Panther Martin   ) as it's been awhile since I've been out on or anywhere near water with everything that's going on socially then add the wildfires which can put a damper on things for sure anyway super blessed morning for any of those who are able to get out on a regular basis good for you and keep at it as I forget just trying to get out to Fish can be logistically a nightmare at times at least for me although I'm sure that could apply to quite a few with you as well. Not necessarily real world problems but when your not able to get your normal stress relief trips such as this in it can make things a bit more nutty  anyway thanks for letting me share 8-)

Matching place holder found for the star drag, came across the OE Brenious star 8-) Works for now until the coveted Avail star drag can be procured. Perhaps a Z-Crank Elseil as a partner in the future :-k
