Orange Reels Rule!

ABU 5600CL Rocket, 2003 Pixy, and SMAK.
I would have bought a baby puke green one but every time I get six Franklins together, someone beats me to it!skeeterboy77 wrote:HAHA look at all those pumpkins. Sweet reels MHOOD.
Still waiting on the 8/30 Green PowerPro...the SMAK remains a virgin. I have played with the twitchin bar a lot, but I don't think that counts.skeeterboy77 wrote:HAHA my bad! How do you like the SMAK down?
It's getting so that I hardly ever use a spinning reel anymore. And I keep pushing the dream spinning rig I want (MB rod and Stella 1000) back to buy other things.jayhawkfishin wrote:What about and orange spinning reel?

It's an ABU Rocket. More of a metallic orange than a red...especially when compared to a red ABU 5000. When you've specialized in orange reels, you have to be rather liberal with the color definitions.scachamer wrote:Okay,I am colour blind but please tell me that one on the far left is red.
Yes I do...thanks again. It's the fastest reel I own. Maybe I'll afford a DC7 someday but the Rocket will always have the best color.frogpond11 wrote:So you like that "Rocket" Abu, huh Mhood? It was hard for me to let that thing go when I sold it to you! It's a great reel.
That's good to hear Kboo. Did you do any pitchin with it? I got a 7'6" Falcon Cara flippin stick for mine and I was going to string it with 8/30 PowerPro for flippin and pitchin. What line did you load yours with? Is your thumb sore from all the twitchin?kbookert wrote:You will like the SMAK. Mine got an excellent work out this week. You should be pleased.
