Hey Chief,
Is that an 8hp yammy next to the 225? Nice motors and fish too. I like my Ranger with a 9.9 kicker on the side....

Wonder what you use your kicker for?

Thanks for posting CAL!

It's a 250. I only use it to launch and get to my spot. I've been on the lake about 20 times and have over 1/2 a tank left. I use the 8 hp to putt a round and really fish the area I'm in. It's a Ranger 621VS. All the fish were caught on Lake Casitas. There's some late spawners there. The small one was on a bed and the skinny 8 pounder looks to have been fanning a bed for sometime.

The crappie were biting on cranks and spinners in about 16ft of water! The ones next to bank we caught weren't near as dark in color or as big.

Oh yeah, I got the 8 pounder on a top water. Not really sure but I think I screamed like a school girl when she came out and hit it!

I lived 5 years in DeRidder as a kid so I know all about LA, coonass, boudin, and Toledo Bend! I'm in CA and have GO HOGZ on my license plate. Wish Nutt was with you guys! We did hold you to 19 point last game and missed 2 FG to lose. This year-- watch out!

Thanks for the hat trick. 8-)

I'll take a Hog on my head and another in my hand anyday!
