Speaking of Pixies
Re: Speaking of Pixies
Love that red drag star, who makes it?
Re: Speaking of Pixies
I would be lying if I said anything
I brought some parts recently and will have to ask. There is no groves inside so I didn’t want to put it on a IS79 body that I’m about to work on. Found some stuff underneath the couch including Megabass knobs.
But I’ll ask the person I purchased the star drag from if they know.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible

Re: Speaking of Pixies
Those stars were sold on ebay several years back, along with a matching cc cap. They also came in silver and orange.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
Re: Speaking of Pixies
I believe they're made in Korea. I've seen some Korean videos where they were tuning their reels with it. Most likely a microbrand sold locally.

Beautiful, thank you for posting pics of this rare gem! I still have an extra original KTF Pixy spare spool in my spool stash

Re: Speaking of Pixies
I'd love to see the difference between the stock Airy spool and the KTF. Would either of you be willing to snap a few shots for me? Thanks in advance!

From outside both spools look the same. The difference is in weight and the IXA ceramic bearings on the KTF spooladam lancia wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 3:01 amI'd love to see the difference between the stock Airy spool and the KTF. Indeed it's a "rare gem" but unfortunately for me, because I'm used to fish left hand reels, KTF made this one only in right hand retrieve .

Oh, I see. I always thought KTF did some porting to the spool to reduce weight. Thanks for the pictures!radu_andrei wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 7:55 amFrom outside both spools look the same.
