Is it really any smaller?? And will it cast light baits better than the Alpha Ito

yes and yes, especially in the 1/16-3/16 ounce range

yea its smaller, and yes it can cast smaller baits.

You guys got me thinking again.

I had made my mind up to forego the Pixy, continue to use the Sol or Alphas for SMB, and to buy a Steez to replace the Fuego L, but now I don't know. Maybe I ught to pull a Deon Sanders and get "BOOFF" TEHEE

With this in mind, we pulled out one of or Daiwa Pixy reels to offer up an additional comparison and what we discovered was, the Pixy just barely edged out our Alphas Ito Ai in pitching performance. In fact, the Alphas Ito Ai more closely resembled the Pixy in performance than the standard Alphas! Ito Engineering strikes again.
