Re: My IMX Pro Setups
That's a solid lineup. Just curious, what are you using the Curado PG for? I'm wondering how the low gear ratio does all around.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
Re: My IMX Pro Setups
so I originally bought it back in 2016 for throwing big Mepps #5 inline spinners and big spinnerbaits for pike (I'm in Canada) but I actually ended up using it for everything else too.
the 5.5:1 ratio is still fine for faster baits like lipless crankbaits etc.
its a great all around ratio and its powerful enough that it can retrieve big bladed baits like the #5 Mepps easily,
I believe this was the last North American shimano with the 5.5:1 ratio.
everyone wants fast fast fast these days.
it kind of sucks IMO.

Re: My IMX Pro Setups
congratulations on the setups!
Those look great!
Curious… have you tried the Bronze Slammer yet for pike?

I think you can get the 200K in a 5.5 gear ratio, but it doesn't look like the upcoming 200M will have a PG option...Hulkster wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2023 12:22 pmso I originally bought it back in 2016 for throwing big Mepps #5 inline spinners and big spinnerbaits for pike (I'm in Canada) but I actually ended up using it for everything else too.
