Needing more freedom of movement for the hookset, our very own FCON, has tossed the "tighty whitey tee" in favor of a more "relaxed" fit. See what this zen-like discovery in garmet comfort resulted in....

Awesome fish my friend... Those swimbaits (Mattlures) are sure making a splash here in NJ... we as a group are beating out our "personal best" with these swimbaits...

Looks to me like the reason that he went to the more relaxed fit is maybe his 6 pack's turning into a 12!!!

This is how it played out:

After catching and missing about 15-20 bass(all cookie cutters). I started throwing swimbaits. Mattlures babybass and bluegill. The babybass wasnt producing, so I opted for the larger profile bluegill. It payed off!!! After about 10 casts, WHAMMO!!!! After seeing this fish the blood was pumping. Got it to the boat and grabbed the scale..........

7 lb 4 oz

After a shoreangler helped take some pics, I released her and she jumped back out of the water. What a treat.

I was using a Mattlures bluegill on a Setyr 7'10" Heavy Swimmin' rod with a TeamDaiwa BigBaitSpecial on 20# McCoys.

That is a Smak and a Sol in the background.
