6/25/06--Two small Bass

Post by Lightninrod » Sun Jun 25, 2006 12:08 pm

Hot and dry as you know what! Caught two 1-2 lbers at the larger pond and then went to my boss's smaller pond. The dam is leaking and the water level is way down. Caught the two you see here at the dam where I guess they are hanging out now that the upper end is high and dry for the most part:

2 lbs, 8 ozs--19"

Same

Vixen topwater bait

How do you like that Vixen as opposed to a Spook? I've had my eye on them, and their plastics are top notch.

Thanks guys :D .

dp: I prefer the Vixen(actually, it's the "Barely Legal" Vixen--slightly smaller than the Vixen) over the Spooks. The Vixens have an unusual sound chamber that I like the 'sound' of ;) . They walk-the-dog nicely and the hooks are first class.

Here's a 4 lber that liked it too in case you missed it. 8-) .

Cool, I might pick one up on my next order from them, I've not done much on topwater this year, been doing more on worms than anything I suppose.
